Art Literacy - Japanese Printmaker Katsushika Hokusai

On Friday we had our first Art Literacy lesson of the year featuring Japanese Printmaker 
Katsushika Hokusai.  We learned about different kinds of lines and how to use color in prints.  

Then the students got to make and stamp their own prints!
(We have been talking about pumpkins for our upcoming field trip so lots of 
the students were inspired by that).
