Tie Dye Friday

On Friday, we tie dyed t-shirts to wear to special school events and field trips. The kids had a great time and I can't wait to see how they turned out!

First Day of Play Partners!

Play Partners is an activity where fourth grade volunteers play with their partner SRC first grade students during PM recess. It was quite the success!  All students enjoyed a new social experience and had fun together. 

Play Partners will continue on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Fall Classroom Themes

In order to generalize student learning, we use classroom themes incorporated throughout your child's day (reading, writing, Art, sensory, etc).  These themes are aligned to 1st grade and Kindergarten studies as well as culturally relevant events like seasons and holidays*. 

*If you would NOT like your child to participate in a particular theme, please notify me in writing.
